One-Day Hands-On Workshop on Python & Computer Vision

This one-day hands-on workshop is designed to introduce students to Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Robotics integration through practical implementation.
Participants will learn how Python-based Computer Vision algorithms can interpret human hand gestures and convert them into real-time robotic arm movements using Wi-Fi communication.

The workshop focuses on practical coding and live hardware interaction, enabling students to experience the complete workflow—from capturing live camera data to processing hand landmarks and controlling a robotic hand.

Module 1: Introduction & Setup

  • AI, Computer Vision & Robotics overview

  • Workshop objective & outcome

  • Python environment & PyCharm IDE

Module 2: Python & Wi-Fi Basics

  • Python script structure & logic

  • Running Python programs

  • Basics of Wi-Fi communication for robotics

Module 3: Image, Video & Webcam Processing

  • Reading images and videos in Python

  • Webcam initialization

  • Live video capture & display

Module 4: Hand Landmark Detection

  • Hand detection concepts

  • Landmark identification

  • Real-time hand tracking

Module 5: Gesture Analysis

  • Fingers up / down detection

  • Gesture logic implementation

  • Command generation

Module 6: AI-Based Robotic Hand Control

  • Sending gesture data over Wi-Fi

  • Python–robot communication

  • Real-time robotic hand movement

Workshop Format

  • Duration: 3–5 hours (intensive hands-on session)

  • Batch Size: 20–30 students per batch

  • Mode: 100% Hands-On Practical Training

  • Training Fee: ₹9,500 per batch (GST exclusive)

Requirements from Institution

  • Institution must provide PC or Laptop for students

  • Stable Wi-Fi connectivity is mandatory during the workshop

  • PyCharm software must be pre-installed on all systems

  • Basic power supply arrangements in the lab

Certification

  • Workshop Participation Certificate issued by ZEBJUS LLP

  • Certificate will be provided in digital format

  • Hard copy certificate can be issued on request with additional charges
